Welcome to Teach With Max

Firstly, thank you for taking the time to read my first blog post. While sitting in my living room, I am writing this post whilst also keeping one eye on the fence panels in the garden that are precariously shaking due to storm Eunice.

This Q and A will provide an insight into me and what to expect from the site.

Q. Name

A. Mr Stuart

Q. In what setting do I teach?

A. I am currently teaching in Year 5 in a primary school.

Q. Why have I decided to create a website and start blogging about teaching?

A. I am in my first year of being a fully qualified teacher, and the question I get asked the most is, "how do I support my child's learning?". Answering this question is both relevant for teachers and parents. During the first lockdown in April 2019, I found myself homeschooling my daughter as an unqualified teacher, and it was extremely challenging. Hopefully, sharing my newly acquired knowledge will help educate and inspire parents and teachers.

Q. If you're only newly qualified can I trust the content on this site?

A. Of course. One huge benefit to being newly qualified is that I have recently had the most up to date training with one of the best training providers. Everything I've learned is fresh in my head, and I am incredibly passionate.

Q. What sort of content will be posted on the site?

A. Posts will include information on subject knowledge, teaching methods, supporting learning, and using ICT to support and enhance learning.

Please subscribe for future posts and updates.

Thanks

Mr S
